Paul

These are 'exit' polls as referenced in the link at the end of my message---- exit pols are a guess.

This is a sampling.

When one votes there is not a counter on the computer that identifies
whether or not a person is a woman or a man.

Nor is there a place on a paper ballot in the USA that requires such. There is no place that the voter identifies himself or herself by sex.

After the election, if you have access to the voter rolls with the names of the voters who voted an astute
party person can figure out fairly closely if the voters are women or men------but not on exit polls.

At this time it appears that Romney got about 47% of the total vote and the remaining candidates
got a total of 53% of the total of all those who voted in the GOP Primary in Florida.

This means that 53% of the people who voted in the Florida Republican Primary did not support Romney.

Congratulations to Romney for carrying the 50 delegate votes that will go to the Republican Convention from Florida.

His big test is now whether or not he can carry the remaining 47 states in the various primaries and carry enough delegate votes to the Republican National Convention.

The next big hurdle would be Romney's figuring out how he is going to get the 53% who did not vote for him to vote for him in Florida in the general election.

My parents, life long Democrats, now turned Republican asked me the other day about Gingrich and "open marriage." My Mom still likes Gingrich though. Dad is concerned about Romney being a Mormon.
