Just because he did not receive the envelope it doesn't mean I didn't send it. For all I know he did, or somebody did, or one of the numbers was wrong and got routed to another address ... there are many reasons... but the envelope was send.

Ouch, hoisted upon his own petard. I think the greater crime is thinking that he is so much smarter than everybody else that he can pull this off and fool even a single person. Classic sociopathic behavior.
