I don't believe Apple has the legal right to stop people from reporting on interactions with their employees, quoting the employees, or anything like that. I doubt that their placement of a notice at the foot of their emails would constitute an agreement between Apple and the recipient of the email. If this guy isn't making it up, which it doesn't sound like he is, Apple needs to take a couple of steps back.
