Oh god. I couldn't stand the whaling trivia. But I read it for the story, skipping all the dreadfully boring whaling minutiae, and it was a pretty good story, with an awesome beginning. :-) I just read Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner today with my kids (And then we read the Twitterature Satrire-awesome!!!) And one of my students won a speech contest today- YAY! So exciting. Very good day. Not really relevant to anything, except why I love my rock. It's a good rock. It's a happy rock. And I'm a happy rock pusher.
