I have never seen this group in Canada but you seem to think they are important so I looked them up. I went to their web site and read a few articles, and they are indeed very similar to Jesus Freaks! Their extremism and fanaticism is religious in kind. The only difference between their slavish worship of earth and the slavish worship of a Jesus Freak is that the earth is a real thing that actually exists! So I must place them just slightly above a Jesus Freak! Having said that, I am disgusted by all mindless worship and if you find their wailing and primal screaming contemptible, then there is at least one thing we agree on. Unlike you, I don't consider them important and would no more notice them on the news than I notice a commercial which is to say...nada.
