"I'm sure he still does over and over is project his own emotional feelings on others." Yep! He has actually given a COMPLETE character, personality, and emotional review of himself over time! Of course, being (clearly) uneducated, he had no idea he was revealing his insecurities, fears, hatreds, and, self loathing to others. And that is quite all right! Probably better for society that his defense mechanisms hold up. I would not like to be there when he suddenly and inexplicably got to "know" himself when a subconscious shield failed to deflect a hardened arrow of Real Truth! That act he puts on is not for us, you know? IT IS FOR HIMSELF. It keeps him functioning. so we need to have some compassion...
