There are more than a few books on Heidegger and the Nazi's. Long been known and also heavily debated. In addition to the books, both Hannah Arendt and Karl Jaspers have written about it. Arendt is important because Heidegger had a famous affair with her when she was his student. Then broke it off and she had a terrible time getting out of Germany and to the US. As for Jaspers, they were colleagues, close friends, and almost worked together on philosophical issues. Their friendship was broken during the Nazi period.
