I wouldn't venture an opinion on that particular argument, but I will note my bemusement with the following attribution:

Similarly, popular evangelical author Chuck Colson criticized Jeffress in a radio address and Christian Post interview in mid-October

Who says there are no second acts in American lives? Checking up on old Chuck, I have to say I approve of his devotion to prison ministry, though it seems his particular faith is somewhat more politicized than it need be.

>>They seem to be cool with Romney according to this.<<

Not all of them, according to that. And with some of them, cool only up to a point.

Kinda proves my point. Dems are not going to vote Romneycat in. And if he loses even 10% of the evangelicals from wingerland he's toast, imo- your article says he loses more than that. Ooopsie

Stick a fork in him

I think most Americans are completely ignorant of the teachings of the LDS church, and it's major departures from all main line Christianity, Catholic and Protestant. Which is how Mitt, and the church, would LOVE to keep it!

I was hoping someone like Rick Santorum would make it an issue, but it seems like he's running for VP. Looks like it's up to Newt!

Maybe Obama or his super-pac will go there, if he's called a "muslim" often enough. But, even bringing it up seems kind of tacky, and might make no difference.
