The Islanders broadcast their games on radio through a rinky dink college station, Hofstra University. Interesting, the Nets, who are one of the worst basketball teams going, are broadcast on a major sports station here. Go figure.

I was at the Net game last night. It was one of the worst played basketball games I have ever seen, especially in the first half. The Pistons have a couple of good young players, Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight. Prince got hot in the second half. Neither team plays defense. Both teams looked awful. We ended up seating at Courtside. The Prudential Center was less than half full. I've seen better HS basketball games than what I saw last night. Pathetic.

I understand Dwight Howard wants to play for the Nets. That means Brooke Lopez becomes trade bait if he fully recovers from his injury.
