You've just hit on the core of liberalism...... unintended consequences be damned, can't you see we're trying to do good here?.....<g> . Reminds me of the time my mother in law came over and did my laundry for me. I'd always made it clear that I liked to do my own laundry, but she's the type who really knows what's best for everyone and will jump in and do what she feels must be done for the families' benefit. So she did my laundry, which I found to be a big violation of my privacy. But worse yet is that she loves all of the softeners and bleach and frilly scented crap. When I put my clothes on, I broke out in a huge rash. Here's the funniest part, she was upset at me for not thanking her for doing my laundry. I made things much worse by saying "I didn't ask you to do it". Our current economic condition and cultural conflict are the giant rashes that liberals are giving this country.
