Shorty, Those 200,000 new jobs in December were not Christmas jobs and the 243,000 new jobs this month were definitely not Christmas jobs. We now have 23 consecutive months of private sector job growth. That is bad news for Mitt Romney.

Glad to hear that construction is doing so well. I will have to let my peers know this...and who posted that we are not a manufacturing country...? (s)

As for the quality of jobs, as withholding taxes roll over Year over year, it can only mean that the US is replacing high paying FIRE jobs with low paying construction and manufacturing. So much for the improvement.
