OT - It's the high California income & sales tax rates that get me going. It's now 10% income (minimum rate) and 10% sales tax in my area. However, I guess that is pretty good when you look at Italy and their 25% VAT.

So, I continually ask myself, am I getting my full "Value" staying in CA w/ all of these taxes or might I be better off in the snow and/or rain in a low tax State? I always come around to the answer being "Yes" because of the nice weather here (Silicon Valley).

Had a wonderful walk in the mountains near the ocean yesterday w/ my dog. It was 70 degrees, sunny and beautiful weather for February.

According to Turbo Tax, my State taxes (including sales taxes) are now more than all of my Federal taxes.

That's what you get for living in paradise.
