Deacon was a dominant player of his era. More so than Strahan during his time. But to be fair there hasn’t been many like Deacon since. He was an all time great although he did have the luxury of playing next to another hall of famer, Merlin Olson, and the rules were easier for DL to operate back then.

If you look at the DE’s in the HOF, Strahan is certainly worthy.
