Well that's just wrong on a number of levels. It's the same silly argument some use to urge millionaires to pay more in taxes than they owe so the debt gets paid down. Since it's not generally - yet - voluntary to pay into SS, common sense demands you would draw on it even though you might be philosophically against the program. .........but more to Rands specific case, I believe it was those taking care of her that went after that money. But like I say, doesn't matter; she was entitled, had paid in.

I'm not a Rand fan, but I find it confusing as to why people twist what she really did. And I'm the one who believes in socialized medicine? Go figure.
