The nation votes with its pocket based on promises that will have an immediate positive impact on their pocket: Less taxes policies that avoid job cuts Keep subsidies in places Protect uncompetitive industries The executive takes the reins of the state and has the mandate to act on behalf of the nation. The executive takes into consideration first the interest of those who financed the campaign and second the nation (the electorate) that vote them into power.
