This is how philosophy begins... -g- The Pharoah could have used that on his hardened heart (which Yahweh continued to harden over and over again to ensure that there would be a good story!) but the Children were not inventing too much in those days. Everything then was done with magic such as walking sticks turning into snakes. Of course, nowadays we just carve a snake into the handle...having lost the actual magic to animate trees and brooks and rocks and such.
