But its this universal fascination with light & color which is the one major sense of the world we derive over 80% of all our experience from . So its perfectly natural that the greatest majority of our stories contain the metaphors of "seeing" which are synomous with knowing & understanding especially religion . Or having a good ear , there's the other metaphor for being in tune or carrying a tune hearing the call ! ...all comes out of the senses combined with the body of nervous system . theatlantic.com Different strokes for different folks, some people are unable to learn this the prejudices are to built in ...but even the poor here can have a good time and "see & ride the Holy light" (Reminds me , think I'll send some shoes to Haiti ...)
