"The companies they work for are actually DOING something for the employees, improving their lives"

Yup. Who could ask for more from a boss than a real safety net?

"Foxconn installed suicide nets at their factory last year, and workers in Chengdu are required to sign a “no suicide” pact in their contracts. "

Steve Jobs could mandate the working conditions in exchang for the work and he should.

Once again you are being an apologist for immoral behavior becasue you don't care what happenes to them.

Are you telling me Steve Jobs could not have mandated humane working conditions? They could still build them much cheaper than over here.

It is always the liberals who have to teach the conservatives how to be decent human beings. you don't even seem to know how.
