You can save labor by doing nothing... no, you can't. one must do labor to survive. (at least before we became wealthy and corrupt enough to give easy handouts.) Once survival has been achieved how can survival be 'achieved'? your odds for survival may increase or decrease, but they're never guaranteed. saved wealth simply gives you a better chance to survive. people will still labor for other things and not just "labor saving devices". sure, people will labor for many worthless things. What's useful to you is based on what your feel and desire. so the usefulness of a tool is based on my desire? how does that make any sense?
