And apparently we didn't, until now. This is from jezebel.com and is suitable sardonic, but also tells quite a story. IPlanned Parenthood wasn't the first victim of the Brinker / Fleischer / Handel strategy to suck up to culture warrior conservatives, just the first one with the moxy to push back. This whole SGK debacle is all playing out in the context of the USA NOT having universal healthcare. That's the bigger tragedy; the real inequity.

I KNOW. If you read coverage of this from other countries (esp. in the UK and France) they are trying to report on this but are literally confused as to why women can't receive cancer screenings for free from the government. Like, they have to actually explain to their baffled readership that many US citizens rely on charities for basic health issues, which makes us sound like a Third World country.
It's so fucking embarassing.
