I think MQ is actually 'playing' and baiting, seeing who he might hook into the sophistry etc. and isn't all that serious about the gold viewpoints etc.

I have a 'dark side' that I occasionally let fly, not terribly unlike taking someone behind the barn for a good whupping... and point taken, I'll back off.
