I'm not willing to take the trade off, until I see their individual society become a lot less repressive than it is. Same reason I wouldn't vote for an Orthodox Jew, or a very conservative Muslim, or a talking in tongues evangelical. People possessed by their religions are, imo, unsuited to rule a secular nation. I believe that a secular nation must have leaders who put the country, and it's various peoples, and the nation and the people's needs, ahead of their religious beliefs- and I don't think really committed religious people can do that. I'm sure they can talk a good game about it, but when push comes to shove, I don't trust them at all.
