I think it's going to be Obama 273 to Romeny 265- just a guess. If the republicans really hate Romney, it will be worse than that for them. And of course, if any big world events happen things could change dramatically either way. After all, if Obama gets some sort of 9/11 goodwill moment (which he hopefully won't squander the way Bush did) or if the economy tanks- things could break dramatically either way. But if things remain relatively constant, with a slowly improving economy, the above is my bet. I think Obama wins, barring something weird happening, it's just a question of how much he wins by.

That's an interesting electoral college site. I am going to keep that handy for future reference.
I do agree, the EC has outlived its usefulness but I think there are more pressing changes we need to be making....mostly centered on the way we finance campaigns. That, for me, remains a core problem.
