Kiwis are welcome here as long as they respect other posters. Their gov has had interesting clashes recently with some of their strongest unions. The latter tried to impose hiring & compensation dictates on the production company for two current movies being filmed in NZ. They're a prequel to the tremendously profitable Lord of the Rings trilogy. The movies director, a kiwi himself, told the unions he'd move his company to England in order to film the most expensive movies ever, if they would not compromise. The unions quickly did an about face when they realized he was serious.
