When you do that you missed the point. Was the right wing against bombing Japan in WWII? That is relevant to your argument. Was the right wing against getting us into Korea? Cuba was left over from IKE. Kennedy took the CIA to task after that. LBJ got us in and the liberals forced LBJ out fo office for doing that, but the right wing wanted to stay in and was fighting the liberals who wanted to just leave. The is the big picture and more accurate history.
