Two out of three, not bad. He's clear, concise... To: +al-len (5122 ) From: +TLWatson59 Monday, Oct 13 1997 10:32PM EST Reply #5131 of 20839 al-len: YOU DON'T GET IT. It's not the company. It's the PHONEY squeeze talk. By now everyone of you should have gone back and looked at how real short squeezes work. It is if, only for a temporary period of time, a suffficient number of shares available for trading are ACTUALLY REMOVED from the market place by sustained buying volume, that any short, legal or otherwise will have the crap scared out of him or her. That is what happened in Iomega and Presstek and probably a number of other real squeezes. Anyone here old enough to remember a once very wealthy Texas family by the name of Hunt who through cornering key contracts in the silver futures drove the price up from $4 to over $50 only to have it all collapse on their heads and bankrupt everyone of them. When the longs in IOM & PSTK decided they had enough, the last in shorts were the ones to collect as the buying ebbed and the price dropped day after day. Riley's tale is full of hot air because professional market makers do not put themselves in danger of short squeezes. If there were any real power in your so called cartel, the stock would have gone through the roof when it broke through the $3 level instead of petering out to the whisper of trading that's taking place now. Unless the RMCW crowd can dig up big cash players to boost this stock over $4 on big volume no short if there truly are any is going to be conned into covering by Riley's baloney. I truly hope that none of you winds up seriously hurt when this whole thing ends. Even bird brained d.j. byrnes who will never get any response from me because he is too stupid to count the fingers on his hand let alone understand half of what I've learned about successful trading, should not have to suffer any losses because of his ignorance. Good luck to you all. TLW
