Why is it so difficult to focus on areas where we agree? John, jlallen, any one else, do we agree that we have a double standard when it comes to racism in the US? By double standard I mean the same actions or words directed toward one race are deemed racist where those same words or actions directed towards another race are not. Just the fact that minorities are protected groups is evidence of the double standard. Nigger is a racially charged word. Is there an equivalent word with as much vitriol directed to whites?
