That drugs are illegal is an artifact of the moment. They weren't many years ago and there is no reason for them to be. Just because alcohol lobby is strong, alcohol isn't illegal.

Alcohol, tobacco and prescription drugs aren't illegal either, but they kill hundreds of thousands of users and NON-USERS every year.
