excerpt from Network World analysis of WCOM / MCI.

"...Holy Internet backbones

No doubt, local services are what Ebbers and MCI Chairman
Bert Roberts want the federal watchdogs to keep their eyes on.
But the fact is, WorldCom's growing dominance in the Internet
market will be increased dramatically with MCI's backbone and
customers.

Between WorldCom's pending acquisitions of ANS
Communications, Inc., CompuServe Network Services and MCI's
Internet network, WorldCom's Internet properties will expand to
more than 1,800 point-of-presence sites worldwide. WorldCom
will be carrying more than half of all business traffic that goes
over the Internet if the MCI deal goes through, said Thomas
Nolle, president of CIMI Corp., a Voorhees, N.J.-based
consulting firm.''

Seems like someone will have to make a move soon to grab PSIX or cede this market to WCOM.

Yeah MK, it was screaming at me, so I loaded up at $6.50, also nibbled
on the Jan $7.50 calls, though I paid more than I had to for them. Happy so far with the support above $7(short term), and the 4 day rise(15-20%), not sure if PSIX has the stuff to make it, but am willing to let this caper play out a bit more....like someone posted earlier, the consolidation going on is more than any CEO can thwart....if some telco wants PSIX they're going to get it, even if they have to make an offer that the CEO can't refuse(although the shareholders might, see NETC)

Good volume these past 4 days, guess lots of people are taking advantage of bargain prices with PSIX......

Hey, if no one is gonna buy em, I'm glad their scooping up the small fries, go ahead and firmly establish your international presence, become a player, may hurt the earnings short term but better than hibernating like they have been doing. I like all the action so I'm in it till at least Jan(hoping)......

regards,
