Those work to an extent, and you don't have to worry about trees multiplying rapidly and getting out of control.

Without giving away any secrets, the idea is to sequester the CO2 in a form that can be directly used as a fuel; The ultimate biofuel.

Forests are proving to be inadequate given the current CO2 accumulation in the atmosphere. Forests maybe the correct solution in a few thousand years.

That and we may need to do something about the methyl hydrides bubbling up in the Arctic ocean... a much harder problem.
