According to liberal dogma, the people are fools who are constantly tricked into voting against their own self interests. Therefore, the Federal government needs to be powerful enough to protect these fools from themselves.

If Liberals believed half the nonsense they spout about Global Warming, there would be no reasons to care about public policy, because the world is coming to an end in the next decade or two.
