Kevin, Congrats on the Newton 2000. I bought a MessagePad myself about 2 weeks after it shipped. The little beast is beautiful and extremely well designed with superb craftsmanship. I haven't failed to amuse anyone with the accuracy of the handwriting recognition yet. The material Apple used, gave it a velvetty texture. At around $1000 each they not only feel expensive, they ARE expensive. Unfortunately due to the high cost of production the MP 2000 doesn't give Apple a very high profit margin. And the lack of marketing and its high cost will render it unknown to most of the public. Eric
