When you talk about the effects on health care, you walk into my world. The current system urges opiate consumption upon the general population. If you need pain relief, the only outlet allowed is opiate drugs. For recreational purposes, alcohol is allowed. That is our system. What is the result from the abuse of those two? I shouldn't have to tell you. Is that the direction we want our nation headed? Forget headed, we're already there. How do we untangle what has already been done? I don't think killing everyone that doesn't consume alcohol, as their favorite substance, is a very good solution. Harm reduction. Provide the public another direction, another choice. Reduce the hospital bills related to our national pass time.
