M, over the last week i remember u said something re: bmc? is this your stock? is this a buy at this point? why is this company attractive to you? I always thought you had bmcs and i did not know
that bmc and bmcs were different company.

i m on track w. exercise and approx. 30mins of toning no muscle building. there are apporx. 10-15 machines i do to tone various
parts. i m especially concerned about shoulder areas. My posture
on computer is not very good. Shoulders also carry lots of weight
all day espeically for women. I m doing aerobic & abs and alternate day i do stairs and weighs. approx 4 times a wk. THANK YOU FOR staying after me.

following from briefing:

BMC INDUSTRIES (BMC) 17 3/4 -13 1/8. Maker of aperture masks for color picture tubes in televisions and computers is taking a beating today, losing as
much as 42% of its value after the company warned that its 4Q results will not meet market expectations. According to BMC, a TV sales slowdown,
coupled with a decision to invest in its infrastructure will prompt the company to report 4Q earnings of between $0.22 and $0.26 a share, significantly below
the First Call estimate of $0.53 a share and year-ago net of $0.42 a share. The company said that sales of its high-margin product line, Invar TV mask, are
expected to fall sharply this quarter in comparison to year-ago levels and that this quarter's results were also being affected by increased competition as
well as the weakening trend in Yen versus the dollar. While the company believes these current issues affecting its 4Q results to be temporary and that it has
"excellent businesses with very attractive long-term growth opportunities," investors are not waiting around to find out how the next quarter turns out as they
are exiting the stock without regard to its current price. Currently the stock is trading at about 50% below the high of $35 5/8 reached in late June and it
does not look like the company will visit this upper level anytime soon.

Good Evening Margaret,

I am sorry that you have a cold but i hope that it did not hamper your fun on your little cruise.

Last night's showing of Wall Street Week was aired from Texas and the CEO of American airlines and Compac Computer were on as both were waving there banners stating how they felt business would be great in the future for their companies. I was waiting for them to announce that I would soon be having a music CD and cassettes to sell to everyone but they did not mention it as I guess they forgot. I cannot understand how anything else could be more important?.

I hope that you will have a nice weekend and thank your for your e-mail

Warm Regards
Frank
