My statement is not "wrong" but clearly correct. My comments have been directed to specific posts and specific behaviors. The person who needs to rethink this is you..... Do you really want to continue to rationalize the racist and ignorant posts I cited? Let's make it even simpler....... Let's say solely for the sake of argument that John's racist comparison of Mrs. Obama to a stinking ape is not racist......Is that the kind of post you wish to see appear on this thread? I don't care for the woman.....but I base that dislike on the facts....I don't need to compare her to a primate in such a manner. How is that characterization any better than ones made of President Bush which we all agreed were abhorrrent? How does that kind of needless attack distinguish us from the moonbats? Moreover, how does John's innuendo that Mr. Obama molests his own daughters compare with moonbat posts that Mrs. Bush was a murderous teenager who caused the death of some chap she used to date because he supposedly dumped her....despite there being absolutely no evidence to support that sort of charge.... How is that characterization any better than ones made of Mrs. Bush which we all agreed were abhorrrent? How does that kind of needless attack distinguish us from the moonbats? Finally, the fact that moonbats use such tactics does not justify conservative attacks of the very same nature. They are both wrong......obviously and unqualifiedly wrong by ANY measure. There is more than enough to criticize Obama and his Adminstration for without having to demonize the man and to impute heinous behavior on his part. It undercuts the message that Obama has failed.....and it undercuts one of the most important tenets of conservatism....which is that we believe in sticking to the facts and fair play for all. Now we can all have our own opinions about the behavior of others based upon those actions we observe.....but there are NO facts and NO behavior to support John's comparison of Mrs. Obama to a stinking, unwashed, incontinent ape nor for his scurrilous innuendo about Mr. Obama. It could not be any clearer.
