A friend of mine that is in his early 90s likes to say that if he had known he would have lived so long that he would have taken better care of himself.......I don't lose 15-20 pounds every summer any more, the plan has been to make things easier as I've gone along in life......that's maybe the only one that has ever worked to a tee for me.

We all begin dying in our late twenties or so. It seems the younger you are now the longer you will likely live. I believe as times become more difficult financially we may revert to the former way of life with multi-generational housing. I prefer that type of culture. That is what created the "quaint" small towns with the large homes, the farms with large homes etc etc etc.

Every family member has a function. More skills are learned by the young as the older become less able. When you pass away they put you in the bay window area and friends drop by to pay their respects and the young have a better understanding of life and death.

"Hopefully I will die healthy."

you don't want to die healthy you want to die worn out, that way you know you had a good time
