Palm-sized computer scores big at Comdex

Major computer hardware and software companies are lining up to
create new applications for the PalmPilot, giving PalmPilot the sort of
credibility that Apple's Newton MessagePad ---which received almost
hysterical publicity before its introduction ---has never achieved. A
much improved MessagePad is still around, but it has not met with
general acceptance. And Apple itself didn't exhibit at Comdex.

Fred, did you ever bail out of APM? I had written some calls again 'em which lessened the blow, but still hold that dog. What do you think ... ride it out?
