Religious affiliated institutions should learn the lesson - when they started to accept federal funds they were lying down with the devil of big government. As we know, the latter's primary goal is total control over citizens lives. That's the crucial difference between Dems & Repubs - the first are willing to trade freedom for a snake-oil salesman's promise of goodies(which never actually materialize), while the latter know the federal gov has to be kept in check in every way possible or it will gobble up the average person's liberty. Ken and his fellow Dems want to be diapered by DC's power-hungry big brother.
