WLI Rises businesscycle.com A measure of future U.S. economic growth edged higher in the latest week, and the growth rate rose on an annualized basis, a research group said on Friday. The Economic Cycle Research Institute, a New York-based independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index rose to 123.3 in the week ended Feb. 3 from 123.0 in the previous week. The index's annualized growth rate climbed to minus 4.3 percent from a revised minus 5.3 percent. It was originally reported at minus 5.2 percent.
