Then it is fair for me to say that you do believe in evolution; as one of the forces of nature like gravity and electromagnetism?

I am not sure about your specific positions, so I am asking.

As for me, I'm a no God, Big Bang, full on science kinda of guy.

Since what happened before the big bang is apparently unknowable, I am willing to concede the possibility that a god created the universe and all its laws of nature at the time of the big bang and has not been an influence ever since.

How about you?

>> I'm sure people 1000 ya, knew about erosion and they didn't attribute natural arches to divine creation.

I doubt it. Creationists today still teach their children the earth is about 6,000 years old. Doesn't fit in with geological processes that take many millions of years.

Also, by your own standards, these theories that explain natural arches are only theories. As you have suggested in the past, until a theory is proven in a lab, it is not a fact. To the creationist, that which is not attributed to fact, is attributed to God.

You made this very point to me about science's inability to create life from scratch in a lab.

As of today, natural arches have not been created in a lab. The theories suggest these arches take millions of years and specialized geologic conditions to be created. (sounds a lot like the difficulties with origin of life studies at the present time).

A creationist being consistent would not accept these theories. The only conclusion left is that God created the arches as part of creation.
