The business failure at Yamaichi securities in Japan, may have the equivalent of El Nino effect over here in US markets. I am also looking at the short-term technicals on DELL. -DI: 29 +DI: 19 ADX: 41 Stochastics 85 Chaikin Money Flow below 0 volume contraction from 108,281 on 20th to 104526 on the 21st accompanied by contraction of MFI from 3.69 to 3.59 will have some impact on the prices, IMHO. I stopped guessing, because market proved me wrong many times. Paul

d2, this is the info i got from ML on nov 3 re:dell dell .67 for nov. 24 fy 98 2.53 fy 99 3.60 42% earning growth. dell today nov 03 @83 trading @23 multiple. all above info from Lucy@ML. Lucy at ML talked to ceo of dell on nov2 or 3.

techstocks.com i think ibm is going to do well in 98. on Oct 28 or 29th they were the first company that picked up the market by announcing by back and the company never went low after that. now lou is going to to stay on.
