Giving poor women contraceptives should prevent all those awful pregnancies by women in stress from a bad choice lifestyle. .........The second issue is that many people are not flying here to have medical procedures done as it is way too expensive. We are flying to places like India to even get such procedures as work done to their teeth. Republicans want to go back? back to when people played health care like a casino bet; no preventive health care, instaed wait until you get really sick and THEN let the government pay. I don't get it? Why would any conservative want that?

Nonsene, countries with universal heath care don't just love it they are dumbstruck we that we don't have it. And we don't have it because we are being dumb! The big insurance companies want the peopel to think universal health care is bad so they can get their 40% administration fee, intead of the 4% overhead of medicare. And they have convinced a lot of people. 86% of Canadians like their helath care. At so it they get sick they get health care. A rich society like ours can't have millions of people wthout health care. If you are old and poor today and don't have health insurance and need a hip replacement you are out of luck and will just be crippled. You OK with that?
