Similar thing happened in 1965 with Yamaichi, and everything ended up being OK - thanks to the Japanese government, Uncle Sam, and the international monetary body. Re: CPQ buying DEC If you are a DEC holder and by end of Monday you realize a 10-15% gain in your stock price due to this idiotic rumor, in my humble opinion, take advantage of idiots believing the rumor and sell your shares to them.
