In Ocotober, I asked about this "meeting" and was told that they hope not to actually have a physical shareholders meeting. Management just wants to gather enough proxy votes to pass the issue, turning debt owed to Elan into convertible preferred stock. Peggy Miller jokingly said that if any shareholders want to come by, the company would provide coffee and donuts. I certainly intend to vote my shares in favor of the proposal. Bioject doesn't need to be servicing debt at this point. However, I'll probably pass on the coffee and donuts.
