Or when I watched videos of Hoover standing by while the military shot and killed the bonus marchers. I try not to overdo it, but our history is replete with terrible inhumanity to people. In fact much of it was so horrible few of us really think about it. This moment of prosperety, relative safety and calm is rare in human history. Will Durant and wife, start out their books on the history of civilization at a time when we ate each other-lol.
