Just got Zip + put on a scsi port and find it much faster like 4-5 times my parallel Zip which is still hooked up.

Example 145meg back up took 5 min 20 sec using the Zip tools "1 step back up". I'm real happy.

The Ide is not as fast as the scsi but is some what faster than the parallel.

Right on the Zip+ box it says that when in SCSI-mode Zip+ is no faster than a SCSI Zip, and in PP mode it is no faster than a PP Zip. So save the dough and go for ATAPI. It'll ake you happy. <groan>

SCSI is the same speed as IDE, and both are much faster than parallel. Zip+'s advantage is having both SCSI and parallel in the same drive, so for portability Zip+ is the best. If you don't think you'll transport it, get the IDE Zip.
