When I look at those short term numbers on the health care REIT's, I have to remind myself to look at the big picture. Last year LTC, HCN and HCP were the out performers in that sector. OHI may have a jump start this year, but it still has a ways to go to catch up with the three listed above. Now, where the numbers get a little crazy is if you are reinvesting the dividends. HCN provides a 5% discount on share price when you reinvest the dividends. I wish a chart could show that! Ha!
