Does anyone know does Mendeal still talk about this stock. He used to give it a gloying recommendations. I thought the change in management was good but i guess most do not see it that way.

Hedger: Certainly what is going on with JBA's price is distressing. However, if you own or follow any other jr resource stocks out there you will see a similar price action: they have gone "no bid". Right now is the height of tax loss selling. Combine that with $305 POG and you get an ugly picture.

I personally have a lot of pain in JBA. I own a SLUG of it at CN$1.50. The only good news here is that I will soon have held it over 18 months so I get the lowest US cap gains tax rate...if that matters.

I agree old Neil has been silent on this one. It would be nice to get an update from him.

What I do know in talking with the company is that they seem committed to nailing down jv's on most their properties. I believe that is the reason Mr. Sharpe resigned - impatience with the speed of jv negotiations. I am also comforted that a large % of the shares (I think +- 30% - someone please check me on this) are held by insiders.

The reason we buy these companies is their management. John Guilbert is a legend. The two former Arequipa guys (Hall and Ideiziek) aren't there because this stock is worthless. They are smart fellows who I bet are involved because they see 10 to 1 upside.

I do not know what the future ultimately holds for JBA. They may go belly up, who knows, but this is a risk in all jr resource stocks. There is a saying that the best time to buy is when the blood is running in the streets. Well blood is pouring out now. I think that there is little further downside in jr's at these levels. Absent JBA going belly up (I don't think its gonna happen considering the insider holdings and management) its a great spec at CN$0.28. Keep the faith. Mudman
