Hunter I go back to 95 or so.. but ANMR did a lot of research on MRI and was very innovative.. closely tied with GEmdedical systems..
It merged with its subsidiary MAMO and then changed its name.
By changing their name they are not erasing the past, they are highligthing their new focus of comercializing their medical MRI system dedicated to mammography. The system has FDA approval since 96 and to date there are two installations in the field
One at the university of Texas and One in Faulkner hospital in Boston.
There are three more installations backloged and all five installations will conduct clinicals next year. They want to establish
the diagnostic ability of the machines is predictable repeatable and equal or superior to xrays. it is their hope the fda will recognize that and they can go forward and further comercialize the systems.
