No moderation is what I'm using to describe to myself. And I have voted for moderate REpublicans in the past (but not lately as I don't see any more moderate Republicans). (I basically think Nixon did a good job).

I do think Obama's preferred method of moving forward is to get everyone's input and then see if they can get something on the table that everyone can accept.

Did that work with heath care (or the other items)? NO, because of a lot of different (political/ideological) reasons. Obama admits the bill itself is flawed, but it is his hope that people will be able to find a way forward on it by rewriting it.

And like ANY President the political demands of his party affect what he can do or offer just as they do Boehner's.

Now the healthcare thing is not going to happen though until after the election as, apparently, Republicans see it as attacking their core ideology and think they can overturn it.

Alright it's free country--we agree to put everything on hold until the people speak. And that's why nothing is getting done right now. But to place ALL of this at the President's feet, IMHO, is just a convenient way for Republicans to avoid face up to their own short comings (total intransigence on about 35% of their congressman). So until that's resolved one way or another we are where we are.
